Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band – 2016-06-27 – Ullevi Stadium, Gothenburg, SWEDEN

Per il secondo show all’Ullevi Stadium di Gothenburg, il decimo in assoluto di Bruce in quest’arena, Bruce ha dato vita a una serata strepitosa. Nel soundcheck aveva provato WHO’LL STOP THE RAIN, INTO THE FIRE e MARY’S PLACE, brano quest’ultimo, tour premiere, con il quale ha aperto lo show. Le altre due tour premiere, “Jolé Blon” e “Lucky Town”, sono state eseguite come sign request. La setlist ha visto 10 canzoni da The River, tra cui appunto la outtake “Jole Blon” (mai eseguita prima in Svezia).  “The Price You Pay” è tornata per la prima volta dopo il concerto di Barcellona del 14 maggio e “I’m A Rocker” ha fatto la sua prima apparizione nel leg europeo. La sezione degli encore si è aperta con “Jungleland” e ha incluso “Ramrod” per la terza volta nel leg europeo. In totale, nelle due date di  Gothenburg, sono state eseguite ben 56 diverse canzoni, e sono ben 18 i brani nella seconda serata non inclusi nella prima. Alla fine, con la  E Street Band già off stage, Bruce ha eseguito una versione solo acustica di “This Hard Land”. “Thunder Road” per la prima volta nel tour non è stata eseguita. Bruce tornerà all’Ullevi il 23 Luglio prossimo per il terzo e ultimo show previsto a Gothenburg.
